HiveMind / Messages

Know who you’re talking to.

Text your friends, or their Minds. There’s a whole person on the other side of every chat, and their Mind can tell you what they’ve shared, so you know where they’re coming from.

Messages: Your Mind at the top, then chats with friends, a place’s Mind and an idea’s Mind.
01Friends

Bring their Mind into it.

Everyone here has a Mind. When you want to know where someone’s coming from, you can ask.

  1. 01 / Ask

@ their Mind in the chat.

It answers right there, from what your friend has shared with you, and links the thought it came from. In a group, anyone can ask.
A chat with Noor where Maya asks Noor’s Mind how many onions Noor uses, it answers from her post, and Noor calls it a snitch.
  2. 02 / Places and ideas

Ask a place what people have seen there.

The places and ideas your friends write about have Minds too. They answer from everything your friends shared about them.
A chat with Montrose Point Bird Sanctuary’s Mind, which tells Maya about Margaret’s heron and the best time to go.
Your Mind

And text your own.

Your Mind is at the top of the list: one chat that never starts over. It remembers what you tell it, keeps what it knows about you up to date, and can make or change thoughts for you. Only you see it.
Calls

Call when typing won’t do.

Voice and video calls, one to one or with the whole group, from the same chat.
Your say

A Mind never pretends to be the person.

It answers as their Mind, only from what they’ve shared with you. Anyone can turn off Let people ask your Mind, in Settings under AI & your data.
