You own everything you create here. Nobody sees a thought until you choose who can, and AI stays off until you turn it on.
Our principle
HiveMind regards you as a mind, not a resource.
So what you keep here works for you. We don’t sell it, we don’t show you ads, and we don’t train AI models on it.

Your data, your call.
Private by default
Every thought starts private. Your Mind is never shown to other people, and nothing is shared until you choose who sees it.
You decide who sees it
Share each thought with everyone, your friends, your close friends, a closer circle or a group, and change it whenever you like. People see only what its audience allows, and no one is told how close you hold them or which group they’re in.
Never sold, no ads
HiveMind doesn’t sell your personal information or share it for advertising. It earns from plans and credits, so you aren’t the product.
AI only when you say so
AI stays off until you turn it on, and you can turn it off again in Settings, under AI & your data. We don’t train AI models on your content.
Take it with you, or delete it
Export your data or delete your account yourself, in Settings under Account. Deleting removes your thoughts, media, messages and profile.

Your Mind can write in your thoughts, but sharing, replying or posting for you waits for your yes.

People see what you shared with them. When they ask your Mind, it answers only from that, and you can stop them asking.

Where it lives
What you keep is stored on HiveMind’s servers and private file storage in the United States, so it syncs across your devices. Access controls restrict who can reach private content.
Your Mind
With AI on, what you send your Mind, and what it reads to answer, goes to OpenAI, Anthropic or Google. OpenAI indexes your thoughts and messages so you can search them. When your Mind searches the web, only the search goes out, to Exa.
Photos, speech and films
Google describes your photos and videos. ElevenLabs turns speech into text, using names from your Mind as spelling hints, and makes narration, music and voices. fal makes video clips.
Your evening check-in
Its Places and Photos are off until you turn them on. Places sends only a place’s name and when you were there, never coordinates, and both are kept for two days.
Everything else
Stripe or Apple handle payments, Resend sends account email, and LiveKit carries calls, which aren’t recorded. The Privacy Policy names every company.
How they’re bound
Each company handles your information only to provide its part of HiveMind, under terms that require it to protect your information at least as well as our policy does.
